Join us for a cocktail hour fundraiser to honor all that we’ve built together and hear our vision for building worker power in the South and Southwest in the years to come.
We will hear from keynote speakers Working Families Party National Director Maurice Mitchell, Open Society-U.S. Executive Director Laleh Ispahani, LiUNA Organizing Director Steve Schwartz, and TX-35 Congressman Greg Casar, as well as our Executive Director Neidi Dominguez. In addition, we will have an art auction featuring work by our very own Graphic Designer, live music, food, drink, and fun!
Individual tickets are available for sale - attend the event and support our work!
Unemployed Workers United (UWU) works at the intersection of worker power and modern digital and data-driven organizing to help our movements reach millions. We utilize online and offline base building and organizing strategies, comprehensive campaigns, strategic litigation and communications, and policy advocacy to win concrete demands that improve the conditions of workers’ lives and promote democratic engagement at the local, state, and national levels. Since our launch in 2020, we have reached 17 million predominantly Black and Brown working class people across the Southeast and Southwest, and have partnered with over 40 organizations to build data and digital infrastructure and capacity.
